Abhishek sidelined, Sonam rules the promos

Mumbai, December 18: After sexy Katrina dominating the promos of 'Yuvvraj', it is delicate darling Sonam Kapoor's turn to rule the promos of her forthcoming film Dilli 6. A new trend is clearly visible in Bollywood with actresses gaining dominance in promotional material rather than the actors.

Is it because the face of a woman sells more than that of a man or due to rise of the Indian actress? Whatever may be the reason, but you will see more of newcomer Sonam Kapoor in 'Delhi 6' promos rather than the established actor Abhishek Bachchan.

The teaser of Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's 'Delhi 6' shows Sonam Kapoor dancing innocently with a pigeon. Also the shot shows the actress standing in the Times Square, with rickshaws of Delhi on one side, and Sikhs walking in the background. Surprisingly, Abhishek Bachchan comes only for the last 10-odd seconds along with the film's logo.

Junior Bachchan's shot shows him near a large window, which has Statue of Liberty on the right and a famous mosque in old Delhi on the left. The official theatrical trailer of the film will come out in a week's time.
