Similarities between Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and Ghajini

When a staid-looking, simpleton Surinder Sahni (Shahrukh Khan) working for Punjab Power, meets the flamboyant, vivacious Taani (Anushka Sharma), his world goes topsy turvy. He chucks his black-rimmed glasses and gets his greased hair highlighted. He exchanges his stuffy woollen vests for funky jackets and snazzy jeans. He changes his look, clothes and attitude to woo his lady-love.

What effect Shahrukh's make-over in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi has on the box-office remains to be seen on December 12 when the film releases. But makeovers have been a popular leitmotif in films. Not surprising then that if Aamir Khan also sports two diametrically-opposite looks for his upcoming release Ghajini - initially he is the long-tressed romantic and then for the avenging avtaar he goes mean and bald and all full of tattooes. The recurring makeover motif is here again.

thanx for the article....just can't wait to see both the movies and how the guzarish song is picturised.....

another similarities of both khans characters is that both change themselves because of their ladylove....

if srk being a geek changes to a handsome man cool dude and go infront of anushka who cannot recognise him that he is the geek srk who transform himself for her taste and create a place in her heart

then on the other side aamir disguise himself to asin that he is a ordinary man not letting asin to know that he is the business tycoon whom she is telling everyone that he is her fiancee just to get a steady career....the only motive of aamir disguise himself to asin because he loves her and he wants her to love him as the simple man and not a business tycoon image...

but happy ending for rnbdj but sad story is ghajini
