I still would love watching any Priety Zinta, Rani Mukherjee or Aishwarya Rai film but they all just are doing boring films and nothing intresting or worth watching to tell the truth. Rani seems to just stick to YRF films at the moment. I want to see them do something different they are my fav actors but I would much rather see a Priyanka Chopra or Katrina Kaif film, i'm not saying they are the stars of Bollywood now coz they aren't they have got many years still but i'd rather see them then the big stars who are doing the same old films.😊

Preity's most recent movie - Rituparno Ghosh's The Last Lear was "boring, nothing interesting or worth watching?" 😆😆 Critics and the audience all over would like to disagree with you. IMO, it was much more interesting than all of the new actresses' performances. Preity's performance as Shabnam was much better than most of her performances in commercial movies. Preity should be given props for trying to move away from YRF and doing what she categorized "art films" because she acts flawlessly in them. 👏 The fact that she signed on a movie with Deepa Mehta goes to prove that. However, I agree with you about Rani. She really needs to get away from the YRF bug and do more versatile roles. The girl next door image is getting real old.
I don't think ruling the box office is as important as giving a decent performance. Look at Katrina. Four hits last year. Two with Akki. One with Salman-Govinda duo. One with the Deols. She can dance wonderfully, looks a thousand bucks, but when it comes to acting... lacklustre. Katrina's been riding high on Akki's hit making horse for quite some time. SIK will obviously be a hit, owing nothing to Katrina. As far as Deepika is concerned - one blockbuster movie, which had SRK in the leading role, is nothing to brag about. Replace Deepika with XYZ and the movie would still have been a hit. All she did was smile in the movie, dance and that's about it. If performances like that rule the box office, that's good to know.

For me, i am not into watching the arty type movies!! I'd much rather watch a commercial flick!!😆😊 I agree Deepika is hardly any actress yet i would still watch her Bachna ae Haseeno or Chandni Chowk to China rather than Priety Zinta's film with Deepa Mehta.😊
I'd see a Katrina film coz I know it will be intresting to see and a good entertainer, i've never been the person to see arty films and it is true. It depends on your personal opinion.😊

^^ It truly does depend upon personal choices but what I meant was - she's trying to movie away from YRF and experiment with new roles. I admire that about her =)

Me too. It'll be interesting to see her opposite Shiney in Har Pall and acting alongside Seema Biswas. I'm glad that she's going to be in Heaven On Earth. She really experiments - right from the start. Not many actresses nowadays try roles like she did in the beginning of their career. I really like that about her. Can't wait to see her as the abused wife on Heaven On Earth. Just realised you can't abbreviate Heaven On Earth. 😆

You are right about that😳 I was wrong saying she is doing the same old movies when she is trying her hand at different projects but Rani Mukherjee you have to agree with me is not doing anything like that, she is staying in the YRF camp but i want her to do more exciting roles with different directors😊

^^ I agree with that. Rani really does need to move on from the YRF banner. I think the main problem with Rani's career is that she raised the bar with Black but after that, none of her performances are half exciting as Michelle McNally. She's got talent but she needs to try more risky roles - she more often than not plays the girl next door and that isn't exactly working in her favour.

^^Yupp totally agree .. Ever since Black .. Rani's been like disappearing lately .. Maybe the audience has set the bar to high for her .. But god her last few films were just bad .. Okay not bad bad .. but they weren't the best .. I'd like to see her experiment a tad more with her roles like what Preity's doing :) Gosh I'm excited for her releases!

I completely agree with the comments on Rani and Black. Her outstanding performance in Black led the audience to have great expectations from her. Sadly, she hasn't been doing the roles that an actress of her calibre should be doing. And it's true, Rani needs to break free from YRF and experiment with different directors and do different roles. She has the talent, no doubt. All she needs at the moment are quality roles😊

I love deepika, she's talented, great dancer, beautiful and a great actress.
Kareena is in the same category as preity and rani, Kareena is a senior actress. I love the fact that she don't overact on her recent movies, she acts natural and that's why I became her biggest fan.
I think Katrina kaif still needs to prove that she can act. I know she can look good but what about acting or maybe she's acting but doesn't have expressive eyes.
I don't think Aish, Preity, Rani should retire, they still rule bollywood
