Here I have seen totally unfair and outrageous behavior being tolerated in the name of entertainment... and arguments that its just a game and we are not supposed to take things personally.

Juhi is not one of my favourites in the show, so maybe that is one of the reasons I would not feel offended or angry if someone else makes fun of her eating habits.

The "reality show" aspect of this was totally destroyed yesterday when family members were allowed inside the house and were allowed to discuss how was everyone portrayed outside.

Conpletely agree with you on that one. I myself am not a Juhi fan especially after seeing her always siding with her friends regardless of the fact if they are wrong or right. But I just feel that going as far as targeting someones health issue is a bit far even for entertainment. Instead why don't people talk about the things she has done. Also even though everyone hates her for siding with Sky, i don't see such posts about him.

I remember seeing a thread here some time back discussing this exact same thing.

There were a few members who themselves had thyroid problem and the gist of the discussion as far as I can remember
- In thyroid even after exercise and diet control, there is no weight loss
- We have seen visible weight loss in Juhi without seeing her doing any exercise and it is possible she does not have thyroid
- One possibility is thyroid is just a reason given to justify weight gain
- One possibility is thyroid is cured and she is yet to loose all the weight she has gained when she was not well

Actually throid cannot be cured but it can be controlled with medications. And as far as I know once the thyroid has been controlled weight can be lost through diet and excercise.
