Hands on heart, when I first saw her name in BB-5 players list, I was like,'Shradhha who?"
When I learnt she was Raja Chaudhary's ex-flame, I went into depression mode. Honestly for the first time in life, I was forced to give a deep thought about what is it that a drunk, ugly, boorish duffer like Raja Chaudhary has and an Einstein re-incarnation like me lacks! I mean come on,...here I am, unable to impress even one decent femaIe to be my girlfriend inspite of my good looks-(my mom says), wit & humour- (many of you say) and solid character -(I say) and this moron is endlessly supplying his flames after flames for various reality shows? 😭
For the Rahul Gandhi type innocents here, Shweta Tiwary, previous season's BB winner too is Raja Chaudhary's ex and has a daughter from him!
And those wondering why the hell Rahul G is supposed to be innocent, well...last year during one of his customary trips to UP, the wannabe P.M. of great India, visited a Ganne ka khet-(Sugarcane field) and is reported to have remarked," Chaaval toh is baar khoob acche hue hain kisaan sahab! Mubaarak ho aapko...". On yet another occasion he saw a few burning dung heaps in a lowly village called Bhatta-Parsaul, came back screaming,"Mummy Police ne farmers ko zinda jala diya...maine 71 bodies count ki mummy"and instanly made Bhatta Parsaul a huge hit on Google Maharaj. Innocence surely has its charms but can kill as well...as it nearly killed Congress then! God help India, the day he becomes P.M.

Shraddha...Naari Tum Keval Shraddha ho...just as great Poet Jaishankar Prasad wrote years ago and Swami Agnivesh reiterated during BB-5 stay of his, Shraddha did become Shraddha ki Patra and it has nothing to do with her diatribe of 'Paagal aurat hai yaar ye Pooja Bedi,nor with her alleged liaison with Raja Chaudhary! "
So why does Shraddha deserve accolades and praise from all of us?
For the simple reason of where she comes from.
Here was a girl...born and raised in a lower middle class family. She lost her parents when she was just 12 year old and has struggled to make a little place for herself in Bolly / Telly industry, where competition is cut-throat, God fathers call the shots, and inspite of all odds, this bush baby eyed simple roly-poly did well enough to be inivted for BB-5 in the first place.
And when she landed here and as she spent time in the BB house, who did she have to prove herself against? Her eyes would have grown a bangle size when she would have seen the fellow contestants...High society snob-knobs like Pooja Bedi, Shonali Nagrani, from US the Afghani dare-bare Vida, P*rn Princess Sunny, polished NRIs like Mahek, bulldozing chaps like Sky, Sadiyal Mooli parantha stinkers like Juhi Parmar etc., TV star Amar, Cheekhat hua Kid-Sid...
Like it or not, in India we have Class divide as much of a problem as Caste divide. Actually even bigger problem it is! And Shraddha belonged to another world, another class, surely!
It is to the credit of this little girl that she didn't get overawed, sized each of her opponent and actually came out on top when faced with an onslaught. She gained in confidence by the day, was well behaved unless pushed beyond the limits, proved to schemers and planners that you can still retain values like honesty and commitment to those you consider your friends and even won admiration of contestants as well as audience with her Rajkumari and Jalebi bai acts!👍🏼
Full marks to Shraddha for not getting cowed down by her 'convent-ed' adversaries like Pooja Bedi, (who tried to bull doze her with a "I don't want to take bath now but you must empty bucket NOW. Or Mere liye Omelet banaya, thanks, but I see some white spots in yellow, its not battered well, make it again please."
