Here is why Sky is wrong:

During Rajneeti task, Amar and his team had promised PM to make her captain. PM, in her over-zealousness and to maximize her chances to be captain, told Sky's team as well about this plan. Mahek later confronted PM and told her very clearly that her talk with Sky's team has jeopardized the entire plan to make PM the captain. The promise was off that very moment. PM did nothing to restore faith in Amar's team.

So, why is Sky saying that Mahek promised to make PM the captain. Mahek supports PM in her fight with Sid, but PM still nominates her. But, PM still expects Mahek to let her become the captain?

Still, if Mahek wanted, she could have become captain herself. She did not.
