Just my thoughts...why do people not like Shakti Kapoor -- becoz he is supposed to use woman and do the casting couch thing and be crude and all that right?
Now take say Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt...maybe add also Ajay Devgan...all of them are the same, just maybe in better position, more powerful and able to make people keep quiet about what they do.
All of these guys surely do the casting couch thing - just they have the advantage of the girls throwing themselves at them as they are better looking, better positioned etc. In fact I can even bet they have all been upto more mischief than Shakti who is not devious enough like them to be not caught.
So why do we persecute Shakti for all this and idolize Salman, Sanjay or Ajay?
All in all that way Shakti has shown himself to be a mature and somewhat likable individual. It's not that he is going to rape every woman who appears in front of him. I think what added to the negative image is his anyway doing villan roles in films and therefore people perceiving him in that bad way.
In my opinion he hasnt done anything worse or different than most people (right from bottom to top stars) in bollywood.
