For e.g. in the LOC episode.. u can see that he was the one who told Ravi about Anupama's naatak.. and their strategy. He even said that Rupali and Carol's friendship was genuine... also he was the one who sorted Rahul's situation... he went and asked Rahul to talk to them after 2 hours and explained to Ravi why they should not be against Rahul. He recognised Deepak's real face..
It is just that Ravi is much older to him so he respects him and listens to all he says. In my opinion he is very genuinely friends with Ravi. He has never talked against him.

i agree with u...even i feel amit is genuine. he is not ravi's chamcha at all.

rakhi warned ravi against amit...by saying...omkara nahi ban jana.she tried to say amit was back-stabbing ravi...or did sandip sikand show her some special episode which we havent had the fortune to see.😉
