What still bothers me is the blatant disregard for the LGBT community that has been showed by the HMs time and again. Where was the outrage against homophobia? People went crazy over Hina expressing her opinions on actors but demeaning a community struggling to secure rights never caught their attention.

I still rememer what sort of backlash James Jordan received on social media when he told a contestant that he is used to play with the soft boys and asked him to play with the real boys on BB UK. Vikas actually had to endure much more explicit and borderline traumatizing homophobic bullying.

Well, why speak up for a community that they don't belong to, Fleur? It's easy to aggrandize female issues or industry issues post the entire nepotism narrative, but gender rights are still relegated to female rights alone. Male or LGBTQ rights don't figure into the rights equation.

What I am annoyed at though is, if BB is inviting LGBTQ representation on board the show, then they have the moral obligation to safeguard the interests of the community just like women's issues are swiftly dealt with by the host. To defer away these is seriously poor ethical standards on the part of the channel and the producers. They would do good not to represent the community at all on the show than showcase abuse and then justify it too through the host.

But he strongly insinuated that Vik might have been culpable of making and circulating MMS of hers? Without any substantiating proof? Just like that on a national platform?

When Vik retorted back that he had only met her twice before coming to BB, the host rebuked him again by saying one doesn't have to know the other person to indulge in such activities. What does that imply? That the accused is responsible. What sort of fair judgement is that? He tried and convicted him right there without having any insight into their issues. Wah!

That was the worst episode ever. In the history of BB. And the whole thing was so lame. He asked Ben if Shilpa mentioned Vikas's name and Ben is like "Nope, She only said that 'woh log' banaye hain." Your name wasn't taken Vikas. Like really? Then what was the point of bring up the topic if she wasn't accusing Vikas of it? Kuch bhi. Made absolutely no sense and he kept saying "You don't like it, fight back. Hame toh bahut entertaining lag raha hain. Waah waah."

If someone had rearranged the features of his face at that point I'd call it more entertaining.

I have no words for the host's breaches and incriminations. He's just taken off some of the worst chapters from the Arnab Goswami diary. They should have called in Rajat Sharma if a public moot court was their idea of entertainment.
