Ironically, this is the same Lopa that was telling to Gaurav what if somebody said something nasty to your sister, then what will you do. Here, Lopa involves Bani's mom.

I don't care if anyone talks about putting makeup/botox but involving a cancer patient is really really low. This totally exposed Lopa who has self professed herself as the beacon on equality. Shame

Priyanka knew bringing topic based on his mum would hurt him. Similarly, Lopa too knew bringing her mum into the convo would hurt her. Whether for task or not, Lopa decided to go that far despite knowing how insensitive the topic is.

Had Bani told Lopa, "Are you brining in your Nani to gain sympathy?", then that would be Bani being insensitive but she didn't go there.
