I don't think he intended to, or had any pre-concieved plans to screw Lopa's chances, to be honest. He was super frustrated already - with Bani khao-ing his dimaag - I think he just did it in the heat of the moment. But then he had to explain it, and he was obviously holding a grudge from the weekend - so he said he doesn't feel the need to 'protect' Lopa.

But one can see through this, because he has no alliance with Jagga - and if he'd kept the money for himself, or given it to one of his friends, it could've been put down to competition - which is what he should've done. But I think his issue with Bani earlier must've been more serious than we were shown, as he was sitting in the BR area with a bhayankar expression on his face 😆.

He's going to seriously regret this though, if Jagga becomes captain - she doesn't discriminate in her harassing 😆

I agree that he was not thinking anything before doing this but this is exactly my point. He emphasis all the time that I am here as an actor which means he is a thinker and does everything with mind, but then how could he did something this big so spontaneously?

May be he didn't want to keep the money to avoid fighting and getting the label of thief.
