But few people know that shortly before she agreed to go on the reality show, she broke up with Nihar, with whom she was rumoured to be engaged.
Says an insider, "Nihar and Gauhar had been seeing each other for the past couple of years but they broke up just before she went into the Bigg Bosshouse. Both were keen to get married but they spilt because of religious differences. They had differences over the upbringing of the children that they might have in the future. While he wanted to bring them up in traditional Gujarati manner, she wanted them to follow her religion. and they parted ways because they could not come to an agreement over that issue."
