This is a bogus article! Who cares about religion in these times? It does not look as if Gauhar and Kushal care about it. Religion is to be practiced in private. Religion never comes between true love. Gauhar and Nihar Pandya must have broken up for some other reasons.

However, a source close to Gauhar's family denies that the couple broke off because of religious issues. "They went different ways but Gauhar's family never asked her the reason for the break up. It's Gauhars own life and she can choose to spend time with whomever she wishes and break off and walk separate ways for whatever reason etc.

However what annoys me is the way she keeps harping about inshallah mashallah and halal halal etc. when her and Kamya went ahead and created division on the basis of food. Creating division in the name of food is amongst the biggest haram things you can do as a muslim.

Also the way she acts with Kushal is also a big no no some may consider it to be adultery under certain hadiths, but that is between her and her God.

Just my 2 cents but its her life and she can do what she wishes but she needs to realise she is in a position of responsibility as she has a platform where millions take her as a role model and she should carry herself better as a muslim.

Religion is a tricky subject. In many ways religion doesn't matter. In many ways religion makes all the difference. Add to it how to raise kids, that can make a huge different. People from the same religion, with everything in common, breakup after years of relationship because they had different expectations about kids. What sort of upbringing people have for kids is a very important factor in a relationship. Personally for me I'm a libertarian - religion doesn't matter to me - I see people for their qualities not their faith. However, when I really think about it, I honestly would not be OK raising a child of faith. I can see why for others raising a child out of faith is a big deal. I'm honestly in no place to judge Gauhar or anyone who may make faith a factor in such decisions. No matter how open minded we are, it is hard to shed some preconceived expectations.

Those are the things that bother me as well. My best friend's brother is a preacher in the Masjid. He does all these lectures every weekend and has the beard and everything. However, he kicked out of his own elderly parents when they needed him the most. I think all his preachings are a waste when you can't take care of your own parents. Parents are a priority in Islam and it baffles me on how he claims to be so religious and then turns around and does shit like this.

Maybe that's something they will discuss after leaving the bb house. They are only dating, doesn't necessarily mean they will get married. Nothing comes with a guarantee and its something they will discuss in their own time and in private.

If the reason behind the split with Nihal was religion maybe Gauhar should consider having the "how to bring the children up" topic with Kaushal as soon as they get out ...
