The buzz in Tellytown is that all is not well between onetime close friends Ankit Gera and Pratyusha Banerjee. Sources close to the actor tell us that he suspects that Pratyusha, who is also close to his ex-girlfriend Adaa Khan, has been leaking out details of his breakup with the actress and his alleged fling with Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke co-star Roopal Tyagi. Apparently, Ankit and Pratyusha are not on talking terms any longer.
Our source says, "Ankit, while he was dating Adaa, was very close to Pratyusha and her ex-boyfriend Makrand Malhotra. In fact, Pratyusha (along with Makrand) was the only TV actor besides Adaa who was invited to Ankit's sister's wedding in Delhi in August this year. Ankit and Adaa's break-up took place in October and the actor was shocked when recently, people from the industry and the media got the news. Through a common friend, he heard that Pratyusha had spoken about it to some people and he felt betrayed." When we contacted Ankit, he refused to talk about what went wrong between him and Pratyusha. Pratyusha, on the other hand, simply said, "These rumours are completely baseless."
