CONFIRMED: Bigg Boss 7 Last Season With Salman Khan

Bigg Boss 7 and Salman Khan! The two elements are the most spoken about elements on reality television. But, this is all going to come to an end. We have confirmed information from our sources close to the production house and the channel.

Salman Khan took over as the host of Bigg Boss from Amitabh Bachchan in the year 2010. Since then he's been associated with the show. Salman Khan's warmth and flamboyance have always resulted into favorable TRPs for the broadcasters. But, in all the seasons, Salman has seriously offended some of the contestants.

With Bigg Boss 4, Salman's first year with the show as the host, he was clearly seen very supportive of Ashmit Patel. Year 2011, Bigg Boss 5: Salman visibly avoided Shakti Kapoor, and was rude with Pooja Bedi and Akashdeep Saighal, a.k.a. SKY.

In 2012, during Bigg Boss 6, Salman had verbal spats with Sapna Bhavnani and Imam Siddique. Salman on other hand was always supportive of Sana Khan, who was later casted in his upcoming film Jai Ho.

While, in 2013, in the ongoing Bigg Boss 7, there has been a huge debate going around - that Salman is supporting Tanishaa Mukerji and Armaan Kohli, while being unfair to Gauahar Khan and Kushal Tandon.

There are few facts, which are being brought out in public for the very first time by businessofcinema.com.

It's an open secret that Salman Khan has a close friendship with Ajay Devgn. While, it is always shown on the show that time and again, Salman had warned Tanishaa and Armaan, very politely most of the times. He is dealing with them very patiently.

Also, Tanishaa has gone all out to woo Armaan, there's lot of intimacy visible between them, from what we have seen being aired. This all, apparently, upset the entire Devgn and Mukerji family.

Our source, close to this development, says, "Ajay (Devgn) had requested Salman to make sure that Tanishaa is evicted, ASAP."

On October 26, 2013, we reported that "Tanisha Mukerji is evicted from Bigg Boss 7" (Read report here). Here is the detailed account of what happened that day, according to the same source:

"Ajay (Devgn) and others severely pressurized Salman to evict Tanishaa on October 26, 2013 itself. But, it's not in the hands of Salman, to decide who gets evicted. It is purely done based on votes, or other reasons and rules decided by the producers. There was lot of chaos on the sets. It was earlier decided that Tanishaa will be evicted, but then shooting was stalled for quite sometime. And the news of Tanishaa being evicted got leaked."

Salman Khan convinced Ajay Devgn that if Tanishaa stays on the show, he will work on her image building. Salman has then time and again informed Tanishaa about the necessity of drastically stop doing what she is doing on the public show.

Our other source from the production house says, "What Salman speaks to the housemates is something that's already discussed and agreed between him and the creative team. But the way Salman interacted with Tanishaa and Armaan, and Gauahar and Kushal that day was even a shock for us. That was not agreed upon, nor discussed. We are still in shock."

The source adds, "The channel and production house feels that Salman is being soft towards both Armaan and Tanishaa. Gauahar Khan also needed to be told, but also Armaan and Tanishaa needed the same kind of strictness which Salman showed to Gauahar and Kushal."

According to our sources, even the channel is contemplating on replacing Salman Khan as host from next season onwards. Bigg Boss 7 is almost coming to an end, with about forty days more to go.
