I also mailed few of BiggBoss sponsors and the advertisers whose commercials it shows between the break.

The more people hear about it the better.

And oh yeah...that I get it...those 2 never make sense anyways.
It is only the outlook of ppl towards special needs individuals that bothers me.
I've had an Indian doctor here in the US advise me saying that if she stops breathing, do not try to resuscitate her...let her pass..what is the use of her living? That's a pediatrican speaking!
So these guys are nothing.

IF and BB are my escape routes...this is the time when I forget about all my worries...but not today.

But this has become a part and parcel of our lives now. One moment we laugh, the next moment tears roll down our cheeks. So nothing new

Im so sorry to hear that -- my heart goes out to you but you are much stronger than many of us -- nothing surprises me anymore when desi people talk, its like everytime somebody opens their mouth their is some motive behind it, some bitching, some back biting, some jealousy, lack of empathy, superiority over others and unfortunately too many people like that around who are living their sad and pathetic lives being bitter.

Yeah, that's true.
I dread how my life would have been if I were in India under the present circumstances.
Notwithstanding the fact that everyday chores for my lil' one and the umpteen doctor appointments would be so difficult (because of commute, traffic, pollution, unending wait time at the doctor's office), I would also hear unbelievable comments from not only family, but neighbours, doodhwala, driver etc..

I think there is much more value to human life here in the US than compared in India. Indians are not sensitive one bit...they pass comments and offer suggestions with such ease.

I just read your posts mentioning that you have written to various ppl. I was wondering if you could share their contact details with me so that I too can write to them.

Like u mentioned, I pretty well know that my email is also gonna go directly into trash, but I would atleast like to give it a try

Thanks once again to you for taking the initiative to bring this to the notice of the concerned ppl

I applaud your strength. I can very well relate to how much of a struggle each day can be. I am also baffled at your doctor though to make such suggestions. Autistic kids have a lot of potential and it is up to us to show them the way. Yes they need a lot of help and support to reach that potential but it is possible. Children with autism enjoy, have fun, play and laugh like normal kids. Yes they have differences but that does not make their life less valuable. My friend's son is musically talented and with therapy is able to talk and express a great deal. I would never ever think there is no point of him living. He is happy in whatever world he is in and is as much a bundle of joy for his parents than any other kid. I really hope you change your pediatrician as he has no right to make such appaling comments.

Sorry to go off topic but I tweeted and sent message to wherever I could as well. I am trying to get in touch with a friend who works at Ndtv. I feel some press coverage will definitely give this issue more attention.

Oh...that's not my child's PCP who said that. She was a pediatrician who I met at another doctor's office during one of my own appointments.
My child, though not autistic, has severe global developmental delays and we do not have a diagnosis yet inspite of the 100s of tests we've done so far. But she is beginning to improve with each passing day.
She is a bundle of joy and her smile lightens up our day and so worth everything!

Thanks to u as well for all that you are doing from your end.

The entire post is a fabrication. I never found them laughing on spastic or autistic people... Such fabrication in the name of preaching humanity and what not, is just appalling.

I'm not a fan of anyone of them, but it's really disgusting, then you twist it and disrespect the above disability much more ...

When someone doesn't see something obvious, people do say, are you blind? The blindness is used in whole sale in forum, as teasing, taunting or joking by many members and even in real life...that's even worse..so you think that the people with blindness, is honored by that?

And you make an issue with such a non issue, to insult these people much more...what a joke of respect...😡
