Re: What went wrong with Pratyusha

On the above dated time and location Ms Pratyusha from (Balika Bahu) was evicted from the BiggBoss house. How did this happen, how did it came to this? Pratusha enjoyed immense public support and fan following due to her successful show and was one of the favourite contestants who was expected to reach the finals if not win then how did she suddenly got evicted?

I thought a lot about this and have now come to conclusion that the below mentioned pointers contributed to her downfall in this week.

- Salman Khan the host repeatedly picked on her, first for not taking a stand, and then again accusing her for seeking footage and creating drama when she thought she was standing up for herself. This certainly affected her game plan and being made a mockery of herself on the National TV put her in a very vulnerable position and she ended up going into her shell.

- If it was not for the constant picking and abusing from the rest of the house mates especially from Armaan, Ajaz and Andy it was from her closest friends who disappointed her namely Kaamya and Gauhar. During the previous Weekend Ka Wow episode her closest ally, her moral support and best friend in the house Kaamya doubted her intentions and put her down in front of the masses.
This occurred when Kaamya claimed that Pratyusha unnecessarily picked on fights for no rhyme or reason despite being told to sit down in the room. Naturally this was a shocker coming from Kaamya and Pratyusha was heart broken. To make matters worse she also ended up into some minor tiffs with Gauhar over the commando task and in her opinion she felt betrayed by both Gauhar and Kaamya to let her down.

- If that weren't enough she was nominated by most of the house mates, that too against the toughest contenders to date, in her mind she was convinced that there was no way of besting them and she was sure that she will be evicted because people no longer wanted her in the house.

All in all the above pointers caused her downfall to suddenly fall from the heights and comforts she was enjoying to the depths of confinement and loneliness and the last nail in her coffin, that led to her ultimate demise was that she GAVE UP HOPE and the FIGHTING SPIRIT to make her case to the public and simply scaled back dramatically from any footage or drama and resigned herself to the fact that she will be going out this week.

In my honest opinion she had a better chance of ousting Kaamya or Tanisha but a culmination of the above events and her lack of fighting spirit and accepting her fate before it was decided caused her to be booted of the show. All in all a very strong and good contender who definitely had the capability and the public support to reach the finals is out and gone just like that.

Several lessons to be learned and applied in life from the above.

I don't quite agree with this article except for the point on Salman.

She was never a strong contender because she never had a mind of her own. She was always a follower. Her biggest drawback was her ego.

her biggest drawback was the age difference she has with all the other housemates and playing mind games is not her forte. Ofc, Salman bullying her every weekend didnt help her cause.

Salman was so desperate to bully her that he didnt even miss the last chance he got of grilling her yesterday 🤢

That's correct. I also thought that her ego got in her way.
In the first week itself, she and Kamya aligned themselves against Gauahar (all because Gauahar smiled on hearing Pratyusha talk about how popular she is). If anything, it was this attitude which led to her downfall.

Besides, I don't think that Salman was unfairly targetting her. Even her in-house soul-sister was embarrassed by her actions. She never seemed to understand that "taking a stand" doesn't mean talking down to someone for any perceived offence.

She was nothing but an annoying pest and Kamya's accomplice with a delusional sense of self-importance.. that's what went wrong, assuming things were ever right there to start with. Glad she's gone.
