When Sangram says mujhe Gauahar ki koi $#!+ sunni naheen hai, Ellie who's present laughs so much... Ellie doesn't have any sympathetic bone in her body for Gauahar now.

I don't quite understand why tho'. Is it the omelette incident? Or that Gauahar is now good friends with Kamya, who used to taunt Ellie? I really don't understand why Ellie turned against Gauahar so much... Maybe she blames Gauahar for instigating her against Armaan or something (the week 1 "I'll tear your bikini" tamasha). I really have no clue what happened there.

You would turn against her too when you are constantly made out to look like a bad person for not supporting everything Gauhar does. Gauhar sat there and criticized Elli and gave her a bashan for not taking a stand with Gau-Kushal. Second, Elli was insulted by Gauhar with the "just a face" dialogue. Elli felt insulted and so she stepped back a little. I think these two incidents completely turned her.

to be fair Elli sucked as General... I'd be surprised if she wasnt replaced!

That wasn't a grin. Ellie was given warnings from what BB said in the announcement. She was telling Andy or whomever that was sitting next to her...that BB will probably change Ellie..and Gauhar nodded because her guess came true.
