Well Honestly, you and I have a totally different choice in that case... I hated Tanisha in the first 2 weeks... I started liking her after her affiliation with Armaan, becoz I was an Armaan fan... and YES, I am a little biased towards him...
for me, his character as a true gentleman, does not hold much value... I watch the show solely for ENTERTAINMENT... and he provided me with that... rest I dont care if he is a woman beater outside the house or a serial killer... I have already found my soulmate... I am not looking to marry him...
In comparison to him... I disliked the perfect gentleman kinda image Apurva carried... I dont watch the show to sing Bhajans

I don't think misogyny is a good game plan nor do I think it is something to be played with. You cannot make a mockery of it at a time when India's reputation with regards to women rights is at an all time low. Granted it's a dirty show, but shouldn't a line be drawn somewhere ? Some of the things he said to Ellie would have landed him in a sexual harassment lawsuit where I'm from.

He may be a good man behind anger but that cannot be an excuse for all his repeated misdeeds that he commits in a fit of anger. If this was the case, then you could rationalize all the misdeeds that are committed everday in the world and blame it all on 'anger'.

I also doubt this is truly his game plan though based on his reputation outside the house and his past history with women. People will say why am I bringing this up. I'm bringing it up just to support my point that this is not just a game plan.

No... if you actually want to draw a line... then all the movies that have anything to do with rapes, domestic abuse or sexual harassment should be banned... This is not a show about social awareness... it is solely for entertainment purposes... and why should we turn it into a social message... There are many other shows for that...
with all due respect, I am not disrespecting any woman or any person who has suffered a trauma... I feel for them and I wish that things could be different for them... but this is NOT the place to raise a voice for them... It is not a social service centre
I had always maintained that what happened with Elie was partly her fault... she was laughing and that meant an encouragement... she comes from a country which is NOT India... In India, I know people usually dont answer back in the fear of hurting the other... but in the west, people dont shy away from voicing their opinion... if she had a problem, she should have firmly asked him to stop... she doesnt have a problem with Salman flirting... this definitely doesnt mean that she should let everyone flirt with her... but this does mean that she is not the kind who would slap anyone who talks nonsense with her either...
Honestly, being a girl... if one of my friends joked with me the way armaan did... I would not have bothered myself to the extent of crying
