Your explanation might be fine, but honestly learning a new language at a certain age is still difficult and to really pick it up like that so quickly...I don't think so, even with practice, that sort of speed is unheard of considering where she (supposedly) started from in the beginning of BB.

Not from the begining of BB but since she came to India I guess in 2012 or so. I don't think people can be as fluent as others make out to be. See we all know english but depending on where you are from we might not pick up a lot of what is being said if a native from a different speaks. like I really struggle when someone with an AUstralian accent speaks to me. I can make out easily if someone with an Indian accent or British or American accent but not so easily with Australian or Canadian accent. That is when we are pretty fluent in the language.

I am speaking from experience as well. I have spent years dedicated to learning Spanish, Arabic, and even Italian for one year. It's not easy. From my experience and fellow classmates, it's quite easy to see that the learning graph of various learners. Yes one can be fast learner, but still, two months for her to be this quick?...I just don't see that...Accents have nothing to do with fluency of a language. One can be fluent in English but still have their accent, accent is a matter of habit/learned behavior. For me that does not decide fluency, it's the grasp of the language, which Elli def has more so than she let on in the beginning.

Edit: I should prob add I don't have anything against Elli, but last few weeks I have seen some instances and these past few days I have seen a whole other side. Especially in LF, I have seen totally diff Elli bc I use to watch mostly the show, and read some LF updates. These days I watch LF myself, to get my own pov, and it was certainly eye opening not only about Elli, but others as well.

Look now Elli has always had a Hindi problem.

She has improved a LOT since the first week (obviously) but that doesn't mean she is 100% confident with Hindi and can understand anything Hindi related.

I too watch the live feed and I noticed that whenever she speaks Hindi, it is the same way she speaks in the weekends so what the hell are some of you on about?

I know Hindi yet the way Salman speaks in sarcasms always leaves me confused...

that's fine. Some of us just have a differing opinion.

As for Salman, when speaking to Elli, he is pretty simple. His sarcasm seems to be saved for towards the end when making closing remarks. Anyhow, sabki apni opnions hai Elli ke baare mein and even Salman 😆. It's okay if you disagree. I respect your opinion. 😛

P.S.- You will find people who agree with you, but there are some as well who disagree. There is a variety of opinions on various contestants here 😆

I was simply saying that Elli is not playing any silly games like some of you said.

I was also just stating my opinion so yeah...

Salman is simple but not always but I too respect your opinion 😉

Anyone picking up any language later in life can never be as fluent. Specially if someone starts speaking local slurs

"tumhari movie dekhake log pagal ho rahe hai" this was from 3 days ago.. and no Sallu didn't say it fast or with an accent.. 😕 and Elli went "kya?" 🤪 also "karan vs Kaaran" for reason of nomination.. very hard to believe she didn't get that 😉

Also some one needs to clarify this.. but I read on the forum that her dad is Indian don't know if it's true 😕

She said "Kya" because it was something new and surprising for her to hear something about her movie all of a sudden as she doesn't know the reviews yet.

She has always said "Karan" but as soon as Salman pointed that out to her, she did correct it.

And no her dad is not Indian ;)

Ellie knows how to act in front of salman 😆..Also during the box task it was prats who went to her when she got hurt and it was gauhar who consoled her when armaan was rude to her and now she is with tanisha and armaan 😆 😕...

No her dad is not Indian . Her father is Greek , she also said many times she is greek .. and her mom is from sweden .. She just loved Bollywood .. and knows alot of bollywood songs.. thats the only Indian connection she has is through movies
