Salman khan wore rakhi in rakshabandhan and he is celebrating diwali. His mom is a hindu.
It was his decision to do this. Don't make an issue out of it.
In our country, buddhist go to hindu temples and vice versa. We knw some muslims who invited us on eid and we accepted the invitation. And yes they follow islam strictly. And we talk to them pleasantly everytime meet and even discuss the festivals.
Yes, even gauhar didn't participate in the puja. That's her decision. But salman's mother must do pujas at home. He must have seen those yaar. Please try to maintain peace people.

the core theme of this show bigg boss is in itself against islamic principles - gheeba (backbiting) and munafiqat (hypocrisy). lying is also one of the 5 vices in hinduism and sikhism. same with christianity and buddhism.

yet i don't know why people on this forum are constantly acting like moral police on this show and judge the contestants/host by their religious principles all while they engage in a sinful activity themselves? if this is not hypocrisy (and there is no redemption for a hypocrite in any religion) then what is it ? are you trying to rationalize or prove something to yourself ?

There are so many muslims who commit shirk everyday not because they did pooja or wearing the cross,but simply because they are busy doing wordly things at the time of salah(namaz)..shirk means ascribing partners with God...so dear TM...shirk is not just idol worship...shirk is worshiping anything that keeps you from God...it can be cricket, soccer, movies, TV, your job etc etc...how many muslims leave the stadium to offer their prayers or the movies? isnt that ascribing partner with God...so lets not have this debate...salman will be in his own grave and we will be in ours...lets worry about our own deeds...lets worry about the minor shirks we do everyday.

You are asking - how come person believe in two contradicting ideology?
Take a glass half full of water - you can say the glass is half empty, or the glass if half full. Which is correct?

I personally believe in the existence of a Supreme Being devoid of any shape or size. Doesn't it sound akin to Islam's monotheism? Yes - at the same time, I worship idols because I believe that by worshiping the idols, I am getting connected to the Almighty.

Doing namaaz, keeping beard, performing fasting are just way of getting connected to the Almighty. As I said earlier -

Religions teaches us how to live life and how to get connected to Almighty. But it does NOT mean that what religion teaches us is the ONLY way to live life and to attain enlightenment.

Once a sage , Ramakrishna taught us - "Joto mot, toto path" which literally means, the more the ideologies/rituals, the more ways to attain God. But the target is same - pleasing God and attaining enlightenment.

So stop judging people whether they are following the Quarnic principles perfectly or not. As someone said, humanity is the best religion and every religion teaches us to be a good human being. So ultimate test of being a good muslim, hindu or christian is whether we are good human beings and are devoting our life for betterment of others or not.
