After much deliberation, I am finally writing a post. All I wish to state is simple:
Gauhar voted for Elli yesterday when obviously other people were more involved in the matter and today she is asking Elli to be fair? Kya baat hain. (hypocrite, much?)
All Elli said was that violence was not the answer and she can't support violence when Gauhar insisted that Kushaal didn't hit him (he held his neck - is that not at least a touch of violence?).
Kushaal stormed towards Andy while Elli was sitting next to him and she nearly started crying because she got scared. Why would she want to associate with such people when they are still in the moment of heat?
Elli voiced her opinion over the violence because Gauhar questioned her. Kushaal was saying when he was doing all of that dirty stuff to Tanisha: "Woh task tha." He's getting fed his own medicine.
Plus, Andy actually speaks to Elli while most of the other ladies think that she's invisible.
Maybe Andy took it too far - but Andy didn't do anything bad to Elli because there isn't anything bad to say about her. Gauhar was trying to justify the situation - Elli may not understand the more complicated words of hindi but she ain't blind. Violence is wrong. When Tanisha was violent, everyone turned against her. Yes, that's fine but they treated her really badly but Elli still remained polite with her.
Today again, Gauhar was trying to form a group in support of Kushaal but Elli didn't buy into it. For me, that was smartness and decency on her part because she was ASKED.
Gauhar may have stood up for Elli in the past but she deserted her just a day ago. Maybe Gauhar will remember that later, just like how she forgot what she told Asif. We'll give her some time to put the pieces together.
You may not agree with me but you can definitely agree with Elli's point and what she simply stated..."baat aur haath utana alag baat hain" and literally, that's all she said. ššš
