Armaan kept provoking me: Asif Azim
DC | Natasha Coutinho | 3 hours 19 min agoInternational model Asif Azim is the latest to be evicted from the Bigg Boss house. This wild card entry had a language barrier that worked against him, but he managed to make his presence felt on the show.
Summing up the experience Asif says, "I spent almost a month on the show and it was a great experience. I tried to make other contestants positively but wasn't successful. However I'm glad that the experience didn't change me as a person. I know Gauhar since eight years, Andy, Shilpa and Apoorva since seven years, but I realised everyone was totally different from how they are otherwise. A lot of people targeted me while some thought I was a jasoos of Bigg Boss, but I didn't let the negativity affect me."
Asif expresses disappointment at the behaviour of his fellow housemates as he says, "I realised Bigg Boss is everything for them. I often reminded them that it is a family-oriented show so not to use crude language. They may be good people in real life but are behaving like villains. Once Tanisha, Andy and I tried to play a fun game based on Koffee With Karan and planned to keep the questions positive. However, Kushal and others refused to participate, that was disappointing."
Asif recently had a huge fight with Armaan, but says he was provoked into losing his temper. "Armaan kept provoking me and I could not control myself. He would keep saying kuch karte hai, which in other words meant 'fight', but I wouldn't get into it. That day I just lost control of my temper and the fight happened. The good part is after that fight, Armaan has changed and hasn't got into any major fights."
Contestant Gauhar had accused Asif of s eyeing her. Clarifying that, he says, "I told I Gauhar not to use my l name for publicity. God is watching how she behaves, along with the people of the world."
Speaking about the language barrier Asif says, "Yes that was a problem. Before I left, Kamya told me humne itni baat ki par mujhe ek bhi shabd samajh mein nahi aaya."
