He didn't say anything wrong. The dish wasn't cooked properly, and he voiced a silent personal opinion. And to be honest, gobhi ki sabzi is one of the easiest Indian veggie dishes. I fail to understand how someone can screw it up! Usually, when bachelors begin learning cooking, they start off with dishes like creme caramel, aloo sabzi, gobhi sabzi etc. - and if Pratyusha couldn't even cook that properly, she shouldn't even be in the kitchen (nothing wrong with that - it's just not her thing!).
