ur virtual world talks really crack me up,😆 nd if u re really sincere abt taking stand against Arman, go For it. Though question arises- Will Arman's soft behavior or his eviction control number of crimes that transpire daily?😆 If it does, then Please go ri8 now to BCCCI office nd BIGG BOSS office 😆. I Wont mind Arman's eviction for his bad tempered at show , at least then number of crimes that happen daily will go down :P
Seriously this is what you think!! Then I would say good for you. But let me put things this way. To achieve anything you need to take first step. However, small it may be doesn't matter. What matters is that you take that step and continue on it.
Coming to virtual world and all. Dear we are living in a virtual world. What is Facebook, twitter, linked in, online forums, discussion boards? Everything is virtual here. And these things in present time have power to start something revolutionary.
Coming to TV shows. Channel shows us what they think will be appreciated by its consumers and society at large. So, if we put our foot down for such abuses and content then they will have to sit and take notice. WE are the consumers. About its impact, the less I say is more. It definitely impact kids and society at large. Any public personality holds a much bigger responsibility towards society at large. Few years back, ragging in college was at its peak in India. And many students committed suicide because of that. Media, in particular TV channels started reporting these incidents. And eventually ragging was banned. This is just one example where virtual world played a major role in something bigger.
Coming to the issue. This is not just about Armans' behavior. But about the behavior of all such people like Arman who find Abusing not just entertaining but satisfying and their birth right. Should we not take a stand against such people? By letting channel justify such acts on the name of entertainment are we not sending wrong message to everyone?
About crimes, no one is born criminal. But the environment, upbringing and situations make people criminals. And if someone is brought up with the notion that bullying and abusing is correct and their right, then there are good chances that this person can become a criminal. And to add to this fact, crime is not just murder or terrorist attack. Abusing others is also a crime.
