Divya already made it big with hits like Deewana (Srk & rishi kapoor) and Shola aur Shabnam (Govinda) in early 1992... this movie came after her success in Bollywood in late 92.
Rang was released after her death in March 1993.

really rang released after ! so then dil ka kya kasoor and all must have been her early movies then. I think i am getting confused was it her in dil ka kya kasoor. A lot of heroes then had the same hairstyle and wore similar jeans😆 for eg vivek mushran. I think next season they might bring in avinash wadhavan or kamal sadanah😆

Yup, "Rang" and Shatranj" were two movies that were released after Divya's death. Her vijay path went to Tabu, Mohra went to Raveena (they were been tagged permanently as rukk rukk girl and mast mast girl for these movies) and Laadla went to Sridevi... all 3 were HUGE HITS :( Tabu and especially Raveena's sagging careers got fresh lease of life with the films that were left incomplete by Divya :(

Divya's first movie was Vishwatama, second one was Dil ka kya qusoor (opposite Prithvi) followed by shola aur shabnam (govinda) , deewana (srk), dushman zamaana (with armaan) and Dil aashna hai (srk) ...all were released in year 1992 and in March 1993 she died... her career was hardly consisted of one year and 3 months.. but she has been fondly remembered even after 20 years of her death, such a powerful screen presence and potential she got..

alas... "hasrat unn gunchoan pay, jo binn khilay murjaa gaye" (pity on those flowers that died before blooming fully) :(

She was the best bollywood could have asked for.cute and good actress.One no one could take eyes off. And so young 😭 love her in dil aashna. stll cannot get over the way she danced to tujhey na dekho to chain in rang.so beautiful😊 now thinkinh back the mast mast song looks tailor made for her.Even the choreography 😊 Raveena picked up frm mohra's mast mast onwards ..true and she went right till Sheher ki ladki one cult song of the nineties..👏

poor thing max got the kamal sadaanahs and avinaash wadhaavan's of that time.SRK had not even become SRK when he used to star with her😭

I am a fan of diya bharti.she was and is my favorite actoress.i. Saw first film deewane she was in that film.i don't understand how she death happen she did sucicide or she was killed? I miss her a lot.
