Difference between being successful and being popular (for 2.5 years)

Pratyusha's rants about being a successful and how her ex-boyfriend let her down in front of his friends jealous of her success etc etc was a total let down. It's high time that this girl with no job and no decent education knows that there is a difference between being successful and being popular... she was popular among housewives and small girls for 2.5 years... she became popular only because she became a part of an already successful show... now after being kicked out of the show, she has nothing in her hands which hurts her ego, and worse, her boyfriend of two years too kicked her out of his life. Venomous as she is, she lodged a police complaint and now leaves no chance to malign him on BB...she is a serious low life.

I seriously agree with you. In fact, while all others are known or moderately known, she was definitely not so popular...many of my friends don't even know her. Her claims of her success were definitely a let down. Modesty is definitely not this girl's possession.

because she herself is discussing her private life on the show...i don't think you watch the show properly. and about your last line that you are yet to hear her talking of her life outside BB, i would like to tell you that only a few days before BB7 came on air, she had lodged a police complaint about her ex-boyfriend, that he was violent and he even abused her father and also made a point to call all the news channels to splash the news across.

I am ususally not very critical or judgemental, but she has mentioned quite a number of times abt how popular she is or abt her break up making it to the front pages of newspapers etc., which does reek of arrogance.

Coming to the TM's topic, nowadays being popular is no great shake, wid just a few mins on national TV, one becomes a celeb and the popularity increases manifold if u r the main lead of a daily soap on TV...the main point is how many of dem r able to sustain it and make a success out of it?
