The Other Woman.....Sangram's take....Mod note pg6

He bitched about Armaan, Shilpa, Tanisha etc..and concluded with ---

"Anita Untie keh rahein hain, mujhe toh game khelna naheen aatta...poori zindagi laga di unhone, ye teen paanch karne mein------game ki baat kar rahi hain--- EK SHAADI-SHUDA AADMI KO PHANSA KE"USKA SAB KUCHH HADAPNE KI KOSHISH KAR RAHI THHI-------woh keh rahi hai mujhe game khelna naheen aata---Man-na padega Big Bose, Man-na padega----aap sab dekh hi rahe hain!"

Well, Sangram being Sangram, his series of confidential feedback to his Big Bose will continue for as long as he is in the show. But personally, what I thought distasteful was, the remark about Anita. 😕

What exactly does the pehelwaan mean by Shaadi-Shuda Aadmi ko phansa ke? 🤢

Isn't it an insult to late Rajesh Khanna's intelligence too to suggest he was so dumb that he would opt for another woman, just for the heck of it? Opting out of his marriage with beautiful Dimple and staying away from Dimple and his two lovely daughters? 😲

Reality is Rajesh Khanna was a huge star of his times. From whatever I have read over the years, the guy was a phenomenon during his 5-6 years of peak when he only had to star in a movie to ensure it was a Silver-Golden Jubilee hit. 👏

That was an era when people believed in Cinema!

Cried when their hero suffered, rejoiced when he prevailed upon baddies like Pran-Prem Chopra and celebrated when their hero finally got the heroine and they lived happily ever after!

Today Khans and Akshay Kumars are popular, but times have drastically changed. Fans perfectly understand that stunts have computer effect elements, their favourites are merely enacting out scripts on screen and nothing is real!

Had one star today commanded the fanatical levels of adulation that Rajesh received, his every movie would be a 200 Crore plus grosser today!😲

Amitabh arrived, Rajesh gradually faded away but his ego remained what it was.

Anita Advani, in a conversation with Andy revealed a few days back that inside his house, the atmosphere was still that of a Super Star's house. Whether he would eat or not, 20 dishes had to be there and just as in his benchmark movie ANAND, he said,"Zindagi badi honi chaahiye---Lambi naheen!"...----------he went on to live a BADI ZINDAGI, till his last.

Somewhere I read Dimple left him, unable to take his egotistical ways, post super-stardom days, but at the same time refused to divorce him.

Rajesh had a romance with Tina Munim and some accounts say, could not marry her because Dimple didn't oblige him with a Divorce certificate and his ego didn't allow him to change religion for marriage sake, as Dharmendra and few others did to stay legally safe.

Cut to 2000s and Anita Advani returned to a yet admired but mostly forgotten Super Star of yesteryear.

As Sangram remarked distastefully yesterday and as some opinions here seem to unkindly suggest that Anita is a gold digger. 😕

Would a woman be by the side of an ailing, dying man who was always known to be one with an Emperor sized ego in the hope that one day this man will die and leave me a fortune? Too many unpredictability, Ifs and BUTs in that hole ridden theory!🤔

Why is it so difficult to rule out that the woman might indeed have always been in love with Rajesh? And stood by him when no one did! Not Dimple not his other ex-girls!

Rajesh, unfortunately died of Cancer. And a death because of Cancer is not a death as shown in films where hero grows a bit of stubble, smiles an all knowing smile, delivers a 4 minute climax dialogue scene and passes away with a huge smile on his face! 😛

It's a horrible, painful death for God's sake! 🤓

One of our neighbor in Delhi, battled throat cancer for a full 3 years. Endless chemotherapy sessions, a throat turned black, hanging out tongue -swollen & red!

His family / nurse would try to offer him spoon fed droplets of soup / tea / lentils and such was his pain, he would unleash a volley of indecipherable abuses! He was frustrated, his family members, may be 10 times more than him!

It surely is very-very-very-very testing to be by the side of a man dying of immense, unbearable pain!

Please consider giving some credit to this woman! 👍🏼

Whats her crime after all? 🤓

That she loved a man who was almost left on his own towards his sad end? Since when 'The Other Woman' has become an object of ridicule in India? In so many societies, women in Live in relationships have same right as that of a wife and it is perfectly logical.

India is changing fast and it is indeed heartening to see so many court rulings according Legal Rights to women who are at the receiving end at the end of a relationship! 👏

Logically look at it. How is it any different if a marriage ends in a divorce and wife is on her own to take care of two kids...or...a 5 year old live in relationship ending where a woman, once again, has two kids to take care of?🤔

More and more courts are passing landmark judgment in favor of rights of women who deserve legal relief and it is a very welcome trend in a country, where the trend of Live in Relationships is on the rise, especially in Metro Cities.

From available reports, one thing that can be firmly established is, Anita was indeed in a relationship with Rajesh and certainly with him all the time in his last few years.

That certainly entitles her to legal rights or recognition and respect atleast! 👏

One of the most articulate and intelligent Chief Minister of India, Ms. Jayalalitha was the other woman' in MGR's life! NT Ramarao, the very respected Actor and CM of Andhra, married Lakshmi Parvati as his second wife and the people very nearly accepted her as his successor after his death, till the wily Chandra Babu Naidu outfoxed her.

Whats the big deal? Indian traditions and society accepts the second wife / woman in life.

Even if Anita indeed was a gold digger, she still does not deserve to be lampooned with a "--- EK SHAADI-SHUDA AADMI KO PHANSA KE"USKA SAB KUCHH HADAPNE KI KOSHISH KAR RAHI THHI"! 🤢

More than Sangram its Big Boss team which is at fault here!👎🏼🤢

Though now based in Russia, while doing my early schooling & years later graduating I was at New Delhi.

Years ago, me doing my early schooling, for MP Elections from our constituency, New Delhi seat, Rajesh Ji was fighting on a Congress ticket and Shatrughan Sinha was rival BJP candidate. For election campaigning, Dimple Kapadia had joined Rajesh and did door to door canvassing for him!😊

On a side note,...😛... my mom, being a girl of 70s', was and has remained a huge fan of Kaka and was thrilled beyond belief to see her Sapno Ka Rajkumar, hands folded at her doorsteps!

( I once discovered her beautifully preserved diary that has gems like "Anand Mara Naheen, Anand Mara Naheen kartey-------but please! Aap aisi films karte hi kyun ho Rajesh, jinmein, end mein aap------------------(a tear drop drawn)! 😭😭

LOL!---- Mom faithfully voted for Kaka , ideology driven Dad voted for Shatru! 😈

No prizes for guessing, with Kaka getting elected as MP from New Delhi constituency, mom won as always!🥳
