Well on the issue, here is my take on it -

Armaan is sexist guy, a complete male chauvinist Pig.. Now that we got that obvious fact out of the way 😆

There are degrees of male chauvinism. As Hades pointed out, it can actually be taken in a positive sense. But in India, usually traditions and customs, slowly become shackles. And so has the connotation from protection and chivalry changed to aggression, domination and ownership rights.

Most indian men are chauvinist, but It depends to what degree the above change has taken in each individual man. Whether they are more towards respect and protectiveness or towards domination.

In case of Armaan, this degree of change is very high. Maybe its his upbringing, too much money resulting in a general disrespect of the humankind, which includes women of course. I don't know.

I happen to know many and I am also married to another one, who are not thick headed like that. They are not free of chauvinism of course, but its manifested in mostly positive ways. In Armaan, it seems to be manifested in mostly negative ways.

SIdhu - he is a crazy chap anyways. I can't take him seriously after seeing him laugh like a baby on stupid jokes. He is also male chauvinist, but maybe degree of negativity is slightly lesser in him. Because at least I didn't see him participate in any eve teasing. 😆

good topic 😳 once i saw a scene where hero was angry shouting at heroin n reason of his anger was he had problem with teller bcs teler will take measurement of heroins parts n hero was possessive ( sala chauvinist stupid pig ) , he dont want ki heroin ko koi touch kare
i found that man very stupid , bcs teller ke paas jana for meserment is a very normal thing n those who cant understand this , n try to portray this thing in a bad way , they show theire own mentality n dirty soch
