It was his way of getting some footage and to tell Salman he was the hero who did all the work and he deserved to go to heaven. The Gauhar incident was just a round about way to get to the most deserving to go to heaven point out and to get Gauhars appreciation 😆 and to tap into female viewers votes. He did not care about Gauhar getting insulted or Elli getting insulted when it happened. 😆
