It's all luck tbh.
I do agree the winners haven't been able to do much post win.
But then again, how do we view success or what do we consider success?
If it's making big in Bollywood then I don't think any of the winner succeeded.
If we consider making money success then even not all winners did well. Gauahar, Gautam have made good money post win others have been stagnant at best.
If we consider incremental change in work as success then Gauahar and Gautam both benefitted. Gautam didn't do much before Bb but after winning her got his own show on MTV, a movie and host of another show. Gauahar went on to become host of a popular show and also did a few cameos.
Gautam also benefitted in the way that his popularity went up from 0 to 100%.

Rest I don't think did much.
Prince won't be benefitted much either. He already was quite popular before entering. So no way.

On the other hand the finalists do usually end up doing a lot.
Ravi Kissen starred in many movies after season 1. Pravesh Rana hosted a show on MTV after BB3. Khali went back to WWE and made huge money. Ashmit Patel got a role in Sallu's movie. Imam Siddiqui did a show and also got paid highly by BB now. Sana Khan got a movie with Sallu and also some small roles here and there. IMO the finalist who got most benefitted by BB is Ajaz Khan. He got many movies afterwards. He is still doing amazingly well. I expect similar fate for Rishabh. He will do really well. In shaa Allah.
