I disagree. The two detectives has finished their interrogation and has declared whom they suspect the killer would be. There was no need for Mandy to make Priya to stick to her statement as Priya has already given her decision. The judge (or that journalist) was revealing who the killer is . He revelaed Suyaash identity and that is when she told "mein Rishabh ki samne Mari and Rishabh is the killer". Even if Mandy has not told that would not have made any difference because the judge is giving the verdict on who the killer is (detectives Cannot change their decisions at that time) ..My question is when Priya cannot change her suspects name at that point of time what was the need for Mandy to tell that Rishabh is the killer.
Read the second last point of my original post for this. Yes, perhaps Mandy overdid this by taking Rish's name even when verdict was about to announce. She probably thought that Priya still have time to change her statement so she tried to mislead her till the last moment until the verdict is announced in Rish's favor.
