Priya Malik was born in Dehradun, India and completed her English honours from Venkateshwar College, Delhi University. After her graduation, she went to Australia for her teaching degree in 2008. She married her long time boyfriend Bhushan Malik.

She was teaching in Our Lady of Sacred Heart before she entered Big Brother Australia 2014. She was first Indian resident to have entered the show. She survived in the house for 3 months and was one of the finalists.

She is 28 years old and lives in Adelaid, Australia, where she also performs as a live stand up comedian. Her hobbies include writing poems and she also participated in South Australian state poetry level and was a finalist there. She is the 4th Wild Card entry to have entered Bigg Boss season 9.

*Please don't use the AT's as a forum to bash/mock/discuss other celebrities/members, discuss what is happening on the forum or elsewhere on IF or other social networking sites, basically keep it related to what the AT is about.

*If you are not a Priya Malik fan, then stay away from this AT and don't bash her here. If caught will be reported to the DT.

*Reduce personal chatting and use the chat club for that purpose. Do not spam with just emoticons/numbers to increase post count/pages. Do not quote long quotes. You can quote three posts maximum and they should be small.

*Do not comment in the new AT until the previous one is done.

*Do not let the FC thread go over 150 pages...when you are close that number please slow down your posts so there is less chance of this happening.

*Report: If you see anyone breaching the rules in the AT, hit the "REPORT" button and report the comment by stating the reason clearly.

*Penalties: If the DT sees more than 3 people breaking the AT rules constantly for a week, the effects of violations will kick start, which go as follows:

First Violation - Warning Note

Second - Another Warning Note

Third - Another Warning Note

Fourth- Close the AT for 24 hrs (1 Day)

Fifth - Close AT for 72 hrs (3 Days)

Sixth - Close AT for 1 week (7 Days)

Seventh - Get rid of AT completely from the BB Forum/Shift it to Celebrity Fan Club Forum.

Absolutely loved her today. She was so clear while talking during nominations. She mad them bring out the real reason for nominations. And the advice she gave to each of them was brilliant, especially to Rimi Sen. Rimi really needs to buck up. Well done Priya👏

Actually I used to watch BB AU 2014 only for her sake. She was awesome in it. She plays with her brains and is not aggressive. I loved here there. Even today she threw a matchstick and people are already fighting😆
