Likewise, foreigners are called firangi in India.

Thats why you call them white people or gora. Not firangee. Besides its all about the context in which it was used. People from the sub continent, Iran, Afghanistan, Pak, India, Lanka, Bangladesh, Maldives, Nepal are all pretty much what you can call "desis". My point is such things are a can of worms and better left unopened. Suyash needs to be more tolerant of those around him and be mindful. But as you and me both can agree on one thing that is he is pretty much an imbecile.

I see we can only agree on Suyash right now. 😆 Everyone has different perceptions. Someone on here was warning me not to call him a particular category of sadakchaanp which Chandigarh (my hometown) specializes in.

Ppl from Iran and Afghanistan are not really called desis in India. I know the categorization is totally different if you grow up in the west. Anyway, Iran is a treasured ally for India so there goes.

I honestly think people in this forum don't know what racism is. It is institutional. It has to do with the feeling of superiority. Calling someone firangi might be rude but it is not racist.

Suyash is that empty barrel that makes the most noise. He just says bunch of gibberish throughout the day that makes little sense. Kind of like Mandana. Creating drama over nothing for footage. Why did he keep asking about the size when he could've easily found out about the size once he sat on the chair? Why did he mention Mandana when so far nothing has happened in her favor. There were no BB rulings.

Please grow a pair. Indians are called brown desis only. Nothing wrong with firangi.
And like @Gundayvedant said, everyone was making fun of Diganga's accent.

So it's ok to make fun of a fellow Indian's English which is not our first language but it's immoral, nay, height of cruelty to do the same to a foreigner speaking in Hindi whose accent btw is worse than Diganga's.

The problem is not calling someone firangi, gora, gori, desi, brown etc etc. He said that it was all ok because she is a firangi but if we do it we will be punished. That's definitely not nice. He could have just said the rules are not the same for everyone instead of bringing any race.
I always wondered how come Kish and Suyyash are together because he is shy type but actually he is not. 😆

The only problem is you should be up to date with the slurs. Firangi was just used as a Hindi word for foreigners when we were kids, now its supposed to be a racial slur. So as you grow old keep checking urban dictionary. 😆😆

WRT Suyash, his tone suggested that he intended to ridicule Man-dana( like I imply here that she is manly looking).

it was racist, discriminating a person based on anything not even in her control is uncool!
