Lets not forget that Gautam only broke down and lashed out when everyone followed him in the bathroom to check him if he's alright. When a person's in a vulnerable state of mind and people around him are pressing the matter, it causes him/her to break down. Also, he lashing out or breakdown was kind of long over-due. First, he's always been bullied, targeted, cornered and ridiculed from the start and second, more recently, Ali was after him for almost two weeks. The reason Gautam expected someone to take a stand vehemently was because everyone behaved in such a casual manner while Ali was on and on making filthy remarks like its a no big deal. He didn't ask anyone to take a stand for him, he expected someone to take a stand against the kind of shit Ali was spreading. Yes, Sambhavna showed her displeasure but not as strongly. Yes, Rahul asked Ali to cut it out too but again, very casually. Yes, KT told Ali to cut out the crap too but she told him a bit more assertively than the others for which gestures of hers Gautam saved her today.

If you have followed the episodes and live-feed closely, you'll notice that Gautam and Pritam shared a genuinely deep bond at one point of time. And given the kind of person Gautam is, he gets attached to people emotionally easily. So, when someone's talking filth to a friend and another friend is just watching by, especially when he's not being provoked despite being in the task is bound to hit Gautam somewhere. I think he's more upset with Pritam than with Sambhavna, Rahul or anyone else because Pritam (like you said earlier above) was very-well aware of the provocation Gautam was being subjected to and yet made himself appear oblivious.

Cut to tomorrow's precap, assuming Pritam came to him to lecture Gautam on sportiveness and forgiveness, Gautam has every right to retaliate. No, I do not say bringing up families in between is an idea or the correct approach but sometimes you have to get down to someone's level and explain it to them in their language if that's all they understand. People, in general, are sensitive about their respective families and friends, its like a sore nerve you twist to get a reaction out of somebody. So, if he's done that, while the approach undoubtedly is not worthy of appreciation, I'd say I get where he's coming from. Simply because, he's been tested time and time again.

Definitely agree. I do not like Pritam or Ali but what Gautam couldn't handle yesterday was only remarks on himself, no remarks were made on his family. But Gautam did brought Alis family into equation and again in trying to make some point dragged Pritams wife. Why not discuss the point, or the contestant rather than their families? I hate terrorists, murderers for example but does it mean their families are to be blamed for it? Each individual is responsible for their own actions, nobody else.
