Love you. The reason I have stayed away from BB8 forum is that being an occasional watcher of the show, I could not really understand the hullabaloo about Gautam. I used watch the snippets, read the nearly gushing posts, OK, delete the nearly bit, about Gautam and really wonder why is it that I am not seeing the superb person that he is . I used to find him guile-less, erratic, slightly pompous ,harmless but a bit dull when it came to using his mental resources. I was totally irritated by his dependence on Puneet. I had never really observed Karishma and Upen so was neutral towards them.
However as I hate the concept of showmance and the basic idea of displaying sacred emotions like true love in a reality show, Upma romance and Karishma's insenstive behaviour in general, made me realise that in this edition of BB8, Gautam is like a one eyed man in the kingdom of blind men. As I mentioned earlier, he seems like an innocuous character. Likeable but not exactly epic hero material.
Sonali. I failed to see much calibre in her. Whatever little that I saw of her, she was disinterested, spaced out, blanked out. She did not create any flare ups in BB8, true. It was not because she was an apostle of peace but she did not have the energy or drive to do anything. She did nothing wrong. She did nothing right. She did nothing.
