Reason for this season being such a let down

When I saw the contestants for the first time I felt that the selection of contestants lacked diversity. Most of them were from tv/film background, relatively young and good looking people. What made the previous seasons interesting was getting people from diverse backgrounds - be it their age, profession, socio economic status- together and see how they interact with each other and react to situations. But as the season progressed I felt the contestants were not all that bad and there were interesting house dynamics. The show was interesting with all the politics, ganging up, groups etc.

In spite of all this this seems to be the least favorite among all seasons. While some might say this is because of completing focusing on one contestant aka Gautam. I would disagree. There lot of strong and opinionated players this season. for eg. Puneet, Gautam, Pritam, Karishma, Upen, Ali even Sonali and Diandra. They all were in the limelight in some way or the other throughout the show. And even it meant more focus on just one contestant, it has happened in previous seasons too where one was more talked about than others.

I feel one of the reason why this season was such a big flop was because of the horrible group and individual tasks. We hardly saw any worthwhile individual task where as in previous seasons the secret individual tasks used to change the house dynamics. Whatever little group tasks they had were so lame and horrible. If BB realised that they are figthting over tasks then they could have had tasks that were competitive but little to no interaction with the other team (like the mithai wala task). I can hardly remember any task this season which made a change in the game or someone made a power play move.

Anyways just wanted to see what you think is the reason for this flop show this season.
