Well he has been very stable and did not change sides every week to confuse audience. Also, he is very genre savvy and knows exactly what audience likes. Sonali was apni marzi ki malkin but she changed sides so often that audience was confused. Gautam sticked with what he felt was right despite what anyone else said. It was easier for the audience to relate to him
