Bigg Boss 8: Controversies that boosted the TRPs

According to a report on Businessofcinema.com, there has apparently been a conflict between the makers of Bigg Boss and the channel that airs it over the Bhavishyavaniyatask that the contestants were made to participate in, during the last week. Apparently the purpose of the task wasn't aptly conveyed to the inmates and they ended up doing the opposite of what was intended. Due to this, the task had to be stopped midway and as a result apparently the TRPs of the show were also affected. This has reportedly created a rift between Colors head honchos and the Endemol Creative team.
