What did Karishma say to Salman that was so rude? She said she didn't find the joke funny based on the HM's laughing. She clearly stated that she didn't mean anything toward Salman and it was her own emotional level...however Salman kept ranting on and on! She gave him a thousand fold more respect than he deserves.
And you can't possibly say Karishma has never taken anyone's jokes! She has endured Salman dumb humor for two months now! This wasn't the first time he was joking. Telling her she covers her face with gobar, making personal comments about her face...and she took it all this time! How can you even say that Karishma doesn't take his jokes when that's all she has done since the beginning of the season?!
If she doesn't accept she's wrong, that looks bad on her! It affects her image. Salman can point out her mistakes and tell her she's wrong and then MOVE ON. He has no right to impose his opinion on anyone.
