A lot of people struggle in the beginning. Gautam's getting there.
The people who stand out as stars...are the ones who have a noticeable charm--there is an x-factor in certain actors...and others just don't have it.
A LOT of people think that Gautam has that noticeable charm (ofcourse he can act too)!

@bold

that is wat it is missing in Mr.Gulati ..he only have one X-factor 😉 ... 😳

1) how could you sign a movie without going out of house?

2)Except sushant no one is confirmed for this movie coz of legal trouble by BCCI.

Kindly READ my post again. People like SRK moved AFTER proving their mettle in lead roles. Nowhere did it say that he didn't do side roles. But they all moved AFTER doing lead roles. GULATI has a looong way to go to land a role like this.

Secondly, Gulati is strictly an average actor. Proof is all his TV roles, and the horrendous OTT audition for that movie...Aashiqui or something. So he isn't going to land a movie role like this based on his body of work on TV.

Thirdly, this article is baseless. The casting is still going on. So it is a clear case of PR machinery.

I don't even know what's your point. Some people get a movie without doing serials, some get after doing side roles and then main roles---and I don't see a reason why can someone not get a movie after side roles in a serial, if he has done some cool, noticeable things like a powerful performance in a regional short movie showed in Cannes, a reality show in which he showed off his supercool personality and talents . Everyone has a different path ...why should they follow your algorithm?
A lot of people started with average acting in the first serial/movie...and then they acted better and better. I think he acts very well...over the top is according to you. I found his portrayal of emotions in the movie "Coward" extremely solid, deep, and powerful! Besides, a lot of Bollywood is over the top, and if he can play over the top equally well...good for him!.
How are you so sure that these articles are fake? You have some inside news? How are you so sure that he won't get a role?
Why am I even arguing with you! If you aren't convinced, who cares!! The article doesn't seem fake to me. If Gautam plays a role in a movie, I am definitely shelling out cash to watch it in theater!! You can stay in denial...if you hate him so much..😆😆
