DISAPOINTED-Gautam's Decision - Page 5

Thank you all who gave amazing pro and con points on this topic! It was really amazing to read different views. I guess in the end it was a fine line between getting emotional as a friend or staying fair as a captain. 👏👏

nah she said in last tht gauti "woh ladki hai bolte bolte ruk gaya and tht maybe he was worried tht by selecting her the whole thing could take off in different direction by other HMs because she too supported him in captaincy and gave it up for him".

Gautam cleared it with dimpy that Ali did better work than her so he saved him.

But, even though he didn't save her, I think, he should be thankful to her. She did help him a lot and gave up the ring. But, he appeared a lil ungrateful to me. That's the problem with Gautam. He doesnt have the attitude of gratitude. And ppl can perceive it in a wrong way. When dimpy was upset, he cud have explained it to her in a better way. That's why even pritam seems to be upset with him initially. Coz he doesn't appear to be thankful.

I think he was very fair. I would have been mad if he had chosen Dimpy. He would have been bashed by Salman for being unfair. I am glad he actually rewarded people who worked good. He himself said that Ali worked hard despite being sick so he rewarded him. Had he saved Dimpy, I would have felt that he returned her a political favor. That would make the game ugly. I am glad Gautam made the decision rightly.

When he had no trouble taking her favors to become a captain then he should benefit her also in some way. It is give and take after all. This seems more like use and throw. Whether fair or not atleast Upen shields his friends when they most need him. If I was Gautam's friend I would be hurt too.

Yes he could have thanked her and said sorry too as a friend. Gratitude makes a big difference!!

I think he's grateful but he's not good at communicating his feelings, whether it's anger or joy. For instance, during the ring task, he could have easily said to P2 that he lost his trust in them. But, no. He started with 100%... 0%. 😆 instead of clarifying, he twisted up things more. But of course, that's wat makes him Gautam and shows him different. It is annoying for the other person to hear him, but as audience, his ulti ginthi was very entertaining to me.
