I really didn't find it funny 😕
It could have been but he was trying too hard and was too caught up in his emotions and random restless energy. Maybe he had held his frustration in for too long or he was trying to be a smartass, but it just looked funny and not in a good way. He was trying to be all suave and cool but we all know that that it just isn't Arya's thing 😆
Also if he wanted to bad mouth Puneet he should have just taken his name instead of passive aggressively making the interviewer say it.
Inside the BB house he always kept saying that I know BB will always make the right decision. But in this interview he said that BB had brought Puneet back for cheap entertainment and this he realized as soon as Puneet was brought back. If that's the case then why didn't he say so in BB itself, that too on Puneet's face, as he claims to be so straightforward and righteous. Why all the fake respect?
He also made indirect 'tonts' at P3G. He said he came across stronger than 60+ children , much calmer than crazy people. That is true. You did. Just say it man! This stupid passive aggressive stance is taking away the real truth in your statement.
Then he said nice things about P2G and again went on and on and on about Puneet. He could have said the truth that P is manipulative etc. but instead called him senile. He went on to bitch about him for too a little long which was okay as Puneet deserves it from Arya. But weirdly in the end he said a guy like Puneet doesn't matter in his life. Then why dedicate most of the interview to him?
As much as I hate Puneet I now understand his dislike for Arya. He knows him from outside and probably knew his whole act inside BB was just that, a fake act.
Also he again confirmed about his & Minisha's past even after she's repeatedly said that his claims are all false. He also said that because he shared 'that whatever past' with her and keeping it 'dignified and respectful' he had the 'right' to ask her to fake a romance with him because anyway people do such things for film promotions.
BIG DIFFERENCE Arya! People during film promotions sell fictional romances to sell a film which is again a fictional story/platform. Here on BB you are here to sell yourself, your personality, your real self. Faking a romance, most importantly a pre-planned one on BB is plain cheating and even you seemed ashamed of it inside BB. Now you come out and do a U-turn, try to justify it and then blame Minsha for instigating your outburst on her? He again confirmed their 'history' as she 'drew first blood'. I know a lot of showmance happens on BB but don't defend it and pride on it.
Then came the LOL part where he said he's a very real person blah blah. This is while acting like 2 completely different people between the BB house and this interview! Atleast stay in character for sometime man!
He had a few rehearsed jokes and they were okay. You could tell that it was rehearsed because his spontaneous ones were really lame! 😆
But the icing on the cake was when he made snide remarks about Manmohan Singh & 'Sonia Ma'am' while comparing them to contestants. He pretty much implied that MMS was her puppet. W*F? 🤢 That was really uncalled for. Also isn't his dad in the Congress?
After this I think it was best that he was silent in the BB house because him talking really doesn't help his case.
It wasn't all bad though. He spoke about his book, how he's self made and said nice things about Upen. 👏 He also laughed the evil laugh which was quite cute on him. He called Karishma a damsel in distress. I'm not sure what he implied by it. Then he compared HMs to characters from comics and fairy tales but sadly for someone who's authored a comic book his knowledge was limited to He-man. As for fairytles it was worse! He and the interviewer couldn't remember the evil queen from Snow White. That was another LOL moment.
He had a fan in me before this but now I want to take myself off his AT.
This interview or this side of him wasn't bad but it was disappointing as now I don't know which is the real him 😕
