Hindi..

I know to introduce myself in kannada and some basic conversation with some kannada words.

Its about how much you use, I work for an MNC, Here we mostly speak in english and at home we talk in Hindi.

I think the same holds true for Upen,He was here for 10 years but may be most of the time he was not using hindi.

all thanx to my dad's job! he was posted in punjab and we moved there with him... there i picked up hindi😛 but cud not learn punjabi😔

I graduated from school of languages, JNU majoring in Chinese (B.A. Hons in Chinese )
Worked in China for a while
I hv a diploma in French
N learned elementary Japanese as optional during my bachelors :)

Brit born n bred. So aside from English I speak Urdu & Punjabi just as fluently as English.

Can read Arabic v.well without actually understanding much 😆 & also understand a little bit of Farsi

Nice - so you have the natural gift for languages? 😃

I can only speak English, Hindi/Urdo and Punjabi - Did French in School for 5years but unfortunately couldnt learn anything beyond the basic. 😆
