I am not a blind fan of Gautam. I do find him entertaining when he speaks and dances in front of the camera. And yes, he is a total footage seeker, but why not? He is after all an aspiring actor and is publicizing himself as best as he can in the BB house. I see no problems with it at all, nor do I judge him for it. The rest of the housemates keep saying "footage seeker" in a negative connotation, but they are all somewhere known faces in the industry and don't need the recognition that Gautam does. He is just starting out in his career. So that "footage-seeking" behavior actually is what entertains me.

But, recently, Gautam has been giving less entertainment and more bitchy comments to the camera. Instead of dancing and singing, he is seen talking to camera and commenting negatively on Karishma, Diandra and others. Which is why, I feel, he is losing that sheen. It may be that this is Puneet's influence ( because Puneet is another person who only bitches all day long, and one can rarely see him do or talk about anything other than making negative comments on others), or this could be Gautam's arrogance at being told repeatedly every WKW how popular he is and people are loving him. I think it's gone to his head, where he is not able to judge his actions in a neutral light. He thinks whatever he does, audience loves him. But, if he continues to be the bitchy twosome with Puneet, audience will also stop loving him. For this arrogance to die down itself, Salman needs to do a one on one with Gautam and tell him off. It was wrong of Gautam to come on camera and speak about Diandra and Karishma. I am not saying others do not back bite, but speaking into the camera, to a large audience watching him is like purposefully talking bad about them with a mean intent. That's not who Gautam is ( atleast wasn't like this in the earlier weeks) and I think he came across as a happy go lucky, happy in his own world kind of person, until Puneet and him started hanging out and now he is so dependent on Puneet, as well as seems to only want to sit and bitch and be stuck up. Yes, the housemates do not seem to give him a chance to redeem himself and they may have pushed him to the wall. But a case in point is KArishma, who is attacked every WKW by Salman, and you can swiftly see the change in her behavior. She may still be a mean, selfish person, but she is way more bearable now to watch, because she keeps out of fights and simply does tasks. She is seen bitching less too, infact Upen , Arya and Diandra seem to bitch more than anybody else in the house.

Praneet, as a friend, took up a very valid point with Gautam and you could see he was genuinely telling him so that Gautam can go back to being himself. Even from the LF, you can see Praneet is concerned about Gautam's personality being overshadowed by all this. Gautam did not even hear him out, and went on to his own conclusions and arrogance kicked in and he simply over-reacted over a friend's genuine concern for him. PRaneet is way more genuine towarss Gautam than Puneet. Gautam will suffer if he does not start playing by himself, and being more open towards everybody in the house, rather than playing by Puneet's words and being stuck behind him all day. Pritam, holds on his own in the house and is seen mingling with everybody, irrespective of whether he lieks them or not. And he entertains too. I think Pritam is my favorite. Praneer is very neutral as well, but I think sometimes he takes on this gyaani mode and goes about giving gyaan and bhashan to others like an older sage. Which he needs to stop and start having more fun and laughs, than try and sudharo everybody's image and fights.
Ali, is soon turning into an Arya. And Arya is still more bearable than Ali. They should make a group. Ali, Arya and Upen. LOL.

As far as the fight with Upen was concerned. I only wanted to laugh at it. W*F was Upen talking about? Calling gautam footage artist, but himself, hogging footage out of a non-issue. Gautam clearly said " jo best friends ho woh baal kataye". How is this a double entendre meaning?? Upen was saying nonsense and coming across as the real air head in the house who is now fumbling to make a mark after being told off repeatedly on WKW that he is the most dull and boring housemate. Upen makes Natasha look like a better contestant. Arya, is amusing. He can never pick a fight by himself, he is so fattu and lives in such a shadow of Upen and others, that he only comes into fights when he has support from someone else. Even his so called angry mode is laughable. He is just too funny. He is almost non-intentionally funny, because of how lallu he is. But, more than anything, Upen proved to be such an airhead, talking such nonsense, and making a mountain out of a molehill. He definitely seemed to just want some footage in the house since Soni left and is seen randomly doing weird shit like slipping under blankets with Sonali, trying to pick a fight with Gautam, trying hard to be macho while yelling at the housemates yesterday, which are all but desperate attempts to be "seen". He should stick to being on the bed, and bitching with Diandra and Sushi. All this other stuff doesn't suit his lame personality.

So yeah, Gautam was wrong with Praneet and right with Upen. Let's not be blind about that. Wish eh gets back to singing and dancing and being funny soon, because that's how we all like to see him. Otherwise I see him as a sore eye in the house until he gets voted out. And upen, please, leave, because even Arya is seeming funnier to me than you.
