Coolie said he is concerned as sonali is from this culture unlike an NRI upen (which of course is rubbish as nris r not like that n general)...
The million dollar question is that why then spared behna soni for sleeping with a complete stranger upen; why he didn't enlightened soni Ben for the same reasons
This seemingly fair Ali is doing this with a strategy..

whether u like it or not thats how majority of the ppl in india thinks ... so he didnt say anything bad ...whatever i think its shonalis decision ...but Ali didnt do anything bad either...

I dont know why he did what he did, but what he said was very appropriate. "Why are they sharing a bed if there are empty beds?" that's exactly what I thought as well about both Soni-Upen and Gautam-Sonali. The same advice holds good for Soni as well.
