Introduction: BiggBoss is a reality TV show conducted in India by Colors Television. It is hosted by famous industry personalities. This year it is being hosted by Gittu Super Star Salman Khan. Between his engagements with 200 crore movies and Court proceedings he finds out 3 months to host the show. Yes it is same 3 months where his six packs turns into Rajat Ravail's "never going to come six packs". The show is watched by desis in desi countries and desis from non-desi countries. The desis include countries from SAARC region mainly India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Srilanka, Bhutan, Nepal and Mauritius.
Purpose: To analyze BiggBoss Season 8.
Materials and Methods: A retrospective review of 3 weeks of BB season 8 was performed by Hippopotamus. The study was approved by IF Development team. 14 famous celebrities and one legend were enrolled into season 8. The legend was Sir Puneet Issar. For rest of the cast see supplement material for links to each. The age range of the group was 25 to 55. The standard deviation was 5. However it was in one direction only i.e. +5. The contestants were initially managed by secret society which was basically a way to give rest to older contestants as they would have been uncomfortable in plane - which was the format for initial 10 days. Once new house was made - the plane was taken away by the trash collecting truck. Salman Khan hosts the show and we have had guests like Rekha, hrithik, Shahid. For more details see appendix. Results: Surkiti, Deepshika and Batasha have exited. Sonali exited but was brought back to bring love in the house. However unfortunately for some, the only love that has bloomed so far is among men. Sushant is the Muhalla girl that all men except Puneet Sir are after. Gulatis is doing Gulatis in random directions. Pritam is still living in his Muhalla of 10 years back. Praneet is cool and calm but remains unclean. Aarya and Upen just Aarya and Upen. No one knows why they are there and to be honest no one cares. Upen licks his lips while Aarya licks his wounds.
Among girls, Karishma is acting as slum girl as said by Sonali however the author found her as innocent and sweet. The literature on forum disagrees with this observation. Minisha and Lamba is the lombdi of the house. Dandra is hated the most. Deepshika was going for 300 runs but ended up run out on a no ball. Soni is not sohni and therefore no TRP. Natasha as I reported earlier is in Serbia. However when it comes to food she is in Lonavla.
The star of the show has been Sir Puneet Issar. This man is lovable, he is innocent, he is funny, he is happening, he is cool, he is loved, he is intelligent, he is wise, he is a total package and a favorite of public.
Conclusion: The season 8 has turned out to be a good one based on interim analysis. Salman Khan is doing good. The contestants were thanda initially but the star of the show is Sir Puneet Issar who has taken it to another level. From interim analysis, it would be safe to project that he will probably win it all.
