Most of you may not know that Deepshikha was the first runner-up in Mrs. India beauty pageant a few years ago. If my memory serves me correctly, she had also played a significant role in a TV serial "Kitty Party" along with Poonam Dhillon.

I remember her from some dance show .. she was a divorced single mother, been thru some personal battles, she was quiet level headed there n only time she blew up was when her personal life was targetted, she was dating a guy probably half her age ... she seemed very genuine about her relationship and didn't care what otgers say of her but didn't take shit if someone targetted her partner as she claimed when everybody left her in hard times only he was sticking by her side! I think it was sajid khan she blew up at

She did and Achint Kaur I think along with possibly shewta salve was in it too.

Anyways I mainly remember her as "iccha" from Baa Bahu aur baby.

As far as a person goes she is great friends with poonam dhillon, the Mahajans (since Nach baliye), JD majethia (bbb director), Delnaaz paul, Ayub Khan and achint kaur.

There are lot of people she reminds me of.

She regards dance as meditation. She uses dance to ease her nerves at the end of a stressful day.

Deepshikha started her career as an actress with Hindi movie Koyla (1997). Later on she also acted in some other bollywood movies like Baadshah (1999), Rishtey (2002), Partner (2007), Pyar Mein Twist, Pranali (2008) etc. She has also performed in the pop album 'Dardi Rab Rab' of Daler Mehndi.

Deepshikha married Jeet Upendra and has two children. The duo is now separated.

Deepshikha was one of the mentors of dancing reality show Dancing Queen, on Colors TV channel. Her aspirant was Liza Malik. The Jodi (pair) were eliminated on February 13, 2009.
