there is a relationship between education and tv viewing. Your point that Priyanka winning would not have changed that is true in some ways. But what’s also true is that no country but those in the Middle East would allow a Harvey Weinstein type on the show or a rapper with Stan’s reputation. He would have been eliminated long before the finale. Why? Because people with questionable reputations and disparaging comments about women would be viewed in western countries as a misogynist and removed. Except in India where it’s celebrated. So the question becomes why? because the west is “better” - no, it’s because of education. One way out of prejudices and hatred is by educating people to think better. To broaden their viewpoints. Hate Priyanka but ultimately it’s not about her but the dumbing down of tv and peoples intelligence. And people who have an issue with MC Stan winning are being accused of being poor sports because their favorite didn’t win. Maybe that’s true or maybe it’s because people like Stan who literally did nothing for 17 weeks other than eat, sleep and call people names had no business being in the competition in the first place.
Biggest mistake is the assumption that educated people watch Indian TV. The garbage that's thrown at audience is beyond anyone's imagination. So the people who watch flying sindoors and people hanging on kites belong to a different category and more or less same audience watches BB.
As for Stan he comes from basti (I hope you know the meaning of it) so it's a big deal for those people and they would go out of their way to make someone from that class to reach this height and win. Like I have said before BB journey has nothing to do with people winning or losing. Its all based on people's preconceived notions.
