Yes Unpopular opinion regarding Sumbul, the actress. Not having seen her show, not even a single episode or any other body of work, if I go ONLY by what I have seen in BB, she comes across as a very poor actress indeed, be it emoting sulking, or being upset, or trying to be dramatic and ranting jabardasti when sajid was around in front of Stan, Shiv, etc. And even when she supposedly was trying to protect shaleen from MC when she was seemingly smitten by the guy.

I find her so so over the top!!!!

Well may be armed with a script, storyline and a good director calling the shots, she may be a good actress. No idea since I have no first-hand experience.

Also where dancng is concerned once again, I hear that she is a great dancer but what I have seen makes me believe that Sajid was indeed right. She makes weird faces and is not a graceful dancer.

Was just catching yesterday's episode that I slept through and saw the garden scene where she is sitting with shaleen when nimrit comes along + before that when she is in bed and had this strong urge to put my opinion down in writing.

LOL no, Sumbul is definitely a good actress and yes, a good script/direction helps. She did good work in Imlie when she had a solid script to back her.

But it became clear over time that while she's a good actress, her range is still limited and her childishness does start coming through in her dialogue delivery from time to time.....she needs to really be monitored for her performance to come out properly.

My problem is that I'm now so repelled by her as a person, I don't even know if I can ever watch her acting work ever again😆......all her overacting, her badtameezi and childish gundi behavior is too much of a turnoff.

As a dancer, I initially thought she was quite good but RWSP proved that she is limited there also and will keep doing the same few moves repeatedly over which her fans will keep hyping her😆.....her dances in BB have been even weirder and strangely aggressive😆

randomly watch any episode of Choti Sardarni, Udaariyan and Imlie ( the episodes with Gashmeer) and then try to revise your opinions( only if possible).

These 3 shows became the backbone of Colors and SP respectively.

There is a difference between acting in real life vs reel.

Shalin is putting an act for BB. His real self is very well described by Daljeet

Shalin did one or two shows as a lead he is average.

With regards to Ekta's casting skills then in my POV it has become jaded. She signed Pratik for Naagin 6.

Most of these ITV actors depend on their directors.

Archana can outshine everyone btw She is perfect Komolika material.

Everytime Sumbul talks loudly or fyts or annoys .....I see her character from Imlie and not her. What I am trying to say is she is carrying on that character here also but widout a proper script or direction ....so she is failing miserably. I hv a feeling that since Imlie was loved by a lot of people ......sumbul thought behaving dt way will earn her heaps of praises as well.

ITV (The new gen) show doesn't run because of acting or the FL but the ML & chemistry between the leads. She doesn't have the look (but then it's subjective & I'm just talking strictly based on the so called beauty standard) of a heroine, can't act, in fact overacts, a non-graceful dancer & if she's not being choreographed she's bad. Popularity is not equal to talent. In fact there are very few artist whose talent justify their fandom size - popularity. She is an sir headed, needs to be educated & learn how to behave..with her attitude, mean girl behaviour & arrogance jameen pe girte der nahin lageghi.

I don't understand why Sumbul is tagged as not fit or pretty? Majority of heroines nowadays look the way they do with a lot of makeup and styling. LMAOO Sumbul does not dress up or put any makeup on. If she does, she will look as good as them if not better.

Her chemistry with both Gashmeer and Fahmaan was beautiful to watch. Usually shows don't work once ML change or gets replaced but Imlie was an exception. I believe Sumbul had a huge hand in making the chemistry work.

I do not support Sumbul in Bigg boss and I am glad she is eliminated but lets give credit where it is due.

When Sumbul opens her mouth after sajid left, she always sounds like she is crying acting .no one talks like that .it's over acting .both shalin n sumbul are overacting
